remediate
Walk the refusal clusters in a readiness report and record decisions into a resolutions store. It reads a fleet-readiness.json you already generated and, for each open refusal, records an accept plus a reason once — a decision that is then applied to every host that raised the same refusal on the next readiness --resolutions <store>. It is interactive, runs no scan and touches no plan; it only writes the store. For scripts, edit the store JSON directly.
Fully local — no API call, no credentials. It does not bill and is not a metered SKU: the billable seat kinds are migration and verify, and remediate records no usage event. It records a decision; it never makes a promise, so accepting a cluster resolves how that refusal is reported, not what the migration does.
vrtmv remediate --report vrtmv-readiness/fleet-readiness.json --resolutions resolutions.json
| Flag | Purpose |
|---|---|
--report <path> | The fleet-readiness JSON to read refusal clusters from. |
--resolutions <path> | The resolutions store to write — created if absent, merged if it exists. |
Feed the resulting store back into a fleet run so the accepted refusals no longer force a "review" verdict:
vrtmv readiness --manifest fleet.txt --resolutions resolutions.json -o out/
